You know why Gas is more expencive in Europe right?Do U think the goverment should tax the oil companies? Why ?
Why add more taxes that will just get passed down to the consumer making it more expensive? The idea to tax someone because they make money after decades of $20 barrel oil, not being able to explore due to the cost involved and congress forbidding drilling off-shore just last week.





Congress, the environmentalist, and the problems in the Middle East (every time Iran's President threatens someone the price goes up thanks to the stock market) are to be blamed, in spite of the fact they are trying to do the popular thing and blame business.Do U think the goverment should tax the oil companies? Why ?
They do tax the oil companies.
Not heavily as most revenge people would like to see. Taxing helps to keep an economy in shape and every one should pay their proper amount.





Complain if you want, but even though oil company CEOs tally up billion dollar incomes, the vast majority of their money goes into searching for new oil fields and and researching new technologies.
