No but Congress sure seems to be in a hurry. They want to increase taxes on oil companies profits which will lead to a higher price and shortages. In the last 2 months 1000 trucking companies have gone out of business and the trucks are being sold to Russia because their economy is doing very well right now. Because the actually dropped taxes on oil company profits which help to bring down the price as well as increased supply. The Democrat lead Congress could fix this tomorrow.
It sure is heading that way and if it does it wont be the oil companies fault it will be Bush's fault for stockpiling so much which drives the price up.
