Is the u.s. army basically working for oil companies and other multinationals?

iraq has no w.o.m.d's,so why maintain the occupation there if not for the OIL wealth?? isnt bush just another despot who lives like a over-privilaged king while his country and his people slowly go down the tubes? didnt the u.s. supply sadam with the chemical and other weapons he used on iran and the kurds some years ago?Is the u.s. army basically working for oil companies and other multinationals?
Don't blame the ARMY for anything though. The men and women who join the service usually do it to serve their country or at the very least get their educations paid for. It's not like the ARMY has a sign that says ';We work for oil companies';. I think if in fact Bush is continuing this war for all the wrong reasons, he should be ashamed. So many people have needlessly died both from the US and other countries. Blame Bush all you want, but the ARMY and every other military branch must follow his orders. Just one side note and then you can go on spewing your ignorant nonsense about the US and its' military forces, blah blah blah, we have heard it all before! Oh yeah back to what I came here to say, in case you didn't happen to catch it, they did find weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Over 500 of them to be more specific. The US has chosen not to make a big ordeal about the discovery because we are not the, ';I told you so'; kind of country. This is factual and can be read about, just google it.

U.S.A. has always sought its presence, which had geographical importance.Iraq is no different! After all USA is not stupid to go to Africa to establish peace between the various warring clans there! Bottom line is: have oil/minerals, we come says the USA!!
