They say McCain will give the oil companies this tax break but does that apply to ALL large corporations or just the oil companies.Serious question about this ';4 billion dollar tax break for oil companies';.?
Hopefully all of them. That way they can create jobs and lower prices. Everybody wins. Serious question about this ';4 billion dollar tax break for oil companies';.?
McCain will give all big business huge tax breaks along with the multimillionaires of the world. He is stuck on trickle down economics which should have been put to the side long ago. Do you like the idea of working hard everyday and waing for the wealthy people and huge corporations to drop a few crumbs our way, because in essence, that's what it is. I would much prefer to be given a fighting chance for myself, not waiting for it to ';trickle down';.
The oil industry has made record breaking profits while we all suffer and fight to pay our bills and heat our homes and put gas in our cars. Come on, haven't they had enough ';tax credits'; now. Give me a break. This administration and the McCain (basically the same thing) have busted our bank accounts long enough, and I mean that quite literally.
Yes...Go to opensecrets.org There you will find all campaign donations listed for all candidates. You will notice there that John McSame has taken donations not only from all major oil company execs but also from Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and all Keating law firm members. He is a puppet of his enviornment.
His idea is one that hasn't worked yet. As one of the 'trickle downers' my job got outsourced and a major corporation made more money. Before the outsourcing I was reduced to a contractor, lost my retirement and health care benefits along with a big cut in pay. McCain will give the major corporations the tax cuts. In turn they will send our jobs abroad . We will still be a nation with high unemployment, huge national debt and foreclosed homes.
Obama will give tax credits to companies that hire US citizens!
Out of respect for McCain, being an Obama supporter that claim is not completely true. More spin than facts. Although McCain always makes sure his rich buddies get richer, it is not as simple as a $4mil tax break.
It refers to McCains biggest tax breaks for the highest income brackets. Oil companies are in that group, but the plan isn't specifically designed to give breaks to ONLY oil companies.
The tax break was to be used in developing alternative fuels. They have been trying to find a cheaper way to use shale oil. I don't know the progress they have made. It would be nice to hear a progress report on that subject.
The 4 billion brought up in the debates was part of tax breaks for all corporations.
Both candidates have voted for tax breaks specifically for oil companies.
Because the drilling for off shore is done by tax payers dollars and the Rep's are trying to pass another bill so we the Tax payer foots all the drilling in the USA as the Oil companies get the profits.
The Republican philosophy is, generally, give to the richest corporations and individuals and somehow that makes us better.
it is for all businesses ..0bama lies
http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/鈥?/a> kind of like obama does on health care
It SHOULD mean that all big time corporations will get a tax break, which will help create jobs %26amp; hopefully stimulate the economy. But we'll just have to wait to see if that's the case.
it applies to all corporations and we need it bad that would stimulate job creation and capitol investment that would make even more jobs
It applies to all large corporations, that is just the part that would apply to Exxon-Mobil etc.
All businesses... he wants to cut the corporate tax from 35% to 25% over a few years. That way we will not have the second highest business tax in the world
That break is just the oil companies.
