Since the Government has ruined our education system, how can we expect them to run the oil companies?

HAHA heres a good one for you regarding education. Our Govener says we have a 15.2 billion dollar deficit in Cali this year. Thats about 15% of our budget. Out here the Dems wanna raise taxes (no suprise there) to cover this deficit. The problem is because of prop 98 passed in '88 half of all new taxes have to be spend on our school system that already takes over 55% of our states budget. That means to tax our way out of this we have to raise an additional 30.4 billion in taxes and the schools get half that.


Logic would say the cheapest solution would be cut 15 % across the board in the budget rather then raise taxes double what we need, but our schools are to under funded to teach logic in Cali.Since the Government has ruined our education system, how can we expect them to run the oil companies?
Uh, most people that want more government can't take care of 'them own selves' They want all the goods, and none of the work. Will they have a no car left behind BS law too? Sheesh. Hey, pelosi promised lower gas prices, and they have jumped about 70%. Did she lie, should we impeach her? All these demoncrats crack me up. Most ethical congress ever. And they put Murtha near the top. Nice. Sen. Dodd gets ';sweatheart'; of a deal on his new home, and I don't thinks it that big of a deal. But still. At least he isn't putting cash in his freezer llike Jefferson. But who doesn't put 90k of cash in their freezer. Right? But with all the bathroom antics and stuff we do, I don't think any of our political leaders have much of a clue.Since the Government has ruined our education system, how can we expect them to run the oil companies?
When did anyone anywhere advocate a government takeover of the oil industry?

The leftists here never cease to amaze me with their willful blindness. ';Nobody ever said that';, when every other question has been asking it. Leftists are so exasperating.
And people want the government to run our health care system too...go figure.
